PLAYER MOVEMENTS AND MOVEMENT MAPS
OFFENSIVE
DEFENSIVE
Players have Movement Maps showing their range of movement. Movement Maps are used to execute Player Movements.
Player Movements allow you to position players where you want on the board.
TERRITORY AND TERRITORY CONDITIONS
Perhaps the most significant rule of the game! Your territory’s condition is what allows you to execute player movements, and even ball skills.
The territory consists of the 8 tiles surrounding the ball:
If the Defensive team has opponents inside the ball’s Territory, it limits the amount of Player Movements you can use for that turn. See the 3 possible Territory Conditions below:
NO PRESSURE
LOW PRESSURE
HIGH PRESSURE
BALL SKILLS
The 4v4 version has 3 basic ball skils:
CARRY - A Carry is when the Ball Carrier carries the ball 1 tile in any direction.
Territory Condition Required: Ball Carrier must have NO PRESSURE.
GROUND PASS - A Pass is when the ball is transferred from the Ball Carrier directly to a team mate.
Territory Condition Required: Passes can be executed under any Territory Condition.
SHOT - A Shot is when the ball is transferred to one of the Goal Tiles. Shots are how goals are scored.
Shots have a unique colour-coded scoring method. The Shot Tiles on the board show where shots can be executed from.
The colour of the Shot Tile where the shot is executed from must match the colour of the Goal Tile where the Shot ends.
Territory Condition Required: Shots can be executed under any Territory Condition.
7v7 BALL SKILLS
The 7v7 version has all the ball skills that are in the 4v4, and an additional ball skill:
AERIAL PASS - An Aerial Pass is a Pass that travels over other tiles (in the air).
Territory Condition Required: BOTH the Passer and Receiver must have NO PRESSURE:
11v11 BALL SKILLS
The 11v11 version has all the ball skills that are in the 4v4 and 7v7, and additional ball skills:
PASSES TO SPACE - Passes to Space are Passes that land in an empty tile in the offside space (offside rule applies in 11v11 version).
Passes to Space can be Ground or Aerial:
GROUND
AERIAL
Territory Condition Required for Aerial Passes to Space: THE PASSER must have NO PRESSURE.
TURNOVER
A Turnover is when the Defensive team steals possession of the ball from the Offensive team.
The defensive team can force a Turnover by entering the ball tile.
GAME ON!
You will also be able to enjoy our training games series, which are games you would see in a training session of a professional soccer team. In these games there are specific objectives that depend on your ability to apply certain tactical principles. Think of them as “mini” games, isolating and testing different parts of your understanding of the game.
On top of that, look out for custom challenges, tactical problem-solving scenarios, the ability to customize player profiles and more.
